THE FOLLOWING DATES ARE FOR 2012.

Registration:

Dates: (Tuesday) May 1st, 8th and 15th

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Place: Warner Park Community Rec. Center (1625 Northport Drive)

Other: An additional fee of $15 will be assessed to late registrations submitted after May 30th.

 

ALL COACHES NEED TO ATTEND 

AT LEAST ONE REGISTRATION!!

 

Coaches Certification Dates:  

The coaches certification dates are not scheduled yet, check back to get information soon. Any coach who did not attend a Dane County Area Youth Football League Coaches Training Session last year, must attend one of these sessions. For those who attended previously, you need only to pay the fee to the association that sponsored the event. You should receive a notice in the mail from that association. YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT CERTIFICATION OR YOU CAN NOT COACH!!

 

East High School Youth Coaches Clinic:

Tuesday, June 19th - 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Cafeteria. This is a mandatory event for all coaches (not just head coaches).

 

Mandatory Parent/Player/Coach Meeting:  

The meeting will immediately follow the equipment handout. See the equipment day note below.

 

Punt Pass and Kick Contest:

Saturday, August 4th (Mandatory for all coaches.)

 

DCAYFL Safety Clinic: 

Monday, August 6th (Mandatory for coaches)(Date may change.)

 

Practice Begins:  

Tuesday, August 7th - Most practices begin at approximately 4:30 - Wear short, t-shirt and rubber football cleats.

 

Equipment Day:  

THIS IS A MANDATORY EVENT FOR ALL COACHES. YOU WILL ASSIST IN HANDOUT FOR YOUR ASSIGNED DAY!!

8th and 7th Grades - Tuesday August 7th - 5:00 pm

6th and 5th Grades - Wednesday August 8th - 5:00 pm

4th Grade and any stragglers - Thursday August 9th - 5:00 pm

 

East High Football Camp:  

Tentatively set for: Tues July 31st

4:30 pm - 7:00 pm

ALL COACHES MUST BE THERE!!!

 

Picture Days:  

Pictures will be held at Warner Park near the tennis courts. Monday August 20th starting at 4:30 . The order will be Cheer, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. More info to come....

 

Weigh-In Date:  

Saturday, August 25th at MATC-Truax Campus on Anderson St. NO EXCEPTIONS!! 

 

First Game:  

Saturday, September 8th

 

Last Game:  

Saturday, October 20th - ALL EQUIPMENT (COACHES AND PLAYERS)  WILL BE HANDED IN ON THE LAST GAME DAY.  EACH KID NEEDS TO TURN IN HIS/HER OWN EQUIPMENT AT THE STORAGE SHED!! YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EQUIPMENT NOT TURNED IN!!

 

FOR THE KIDS
